TMJ tension is very common and can be connected to stress, posture, jaw habits, teeth bite, and muscle tightness around the face and neck.

In this video, we show a simple way to use gentle cupping on the masseter muscle to help release jaw tension and bring more awareness to how your jaw feels and moves.

You can also test yourself: which side feels tighter, which side chews better, and where the jaw feels restricted. This is both a simple test and a simple treatment to help you understand your TMJ better.

Remember, TMJ can have different causes, so don’t just chase the pain. Learn more, check your posture, check your stress, check your bite, and always see a specialist if you have strong pain, clicking, locking, or ongoing symptoms.

Watch, practice carefully, and subscribe to Life RX Wellness for more PhysioMassage, body assessment, and self-care tools.
